Written by: Sithandwa Ngwetsheni

Max Van Rooyen, is a Grade 7 pupil at Blouberg Ridge Primary School.

For the past month Max has been collecting Pick n Pay Animal Cards from friends at school and people in his community and swopping them for dog and cat food for Fallen Angels.

We realised that they have over 200 dogs on that farm and they are all caring for them by themselves

Max van Rooyen,Lead SA Youth Hero

To date he has collected over 1 000 kgs of food and is still going strong. He has spent his weekends at the Fallen Angels adoption days with his Animal Cards and has become a valued member of the team.

The youth hero has dedicated his time to this project and plans on doing more for Fallen Angels.
