Youth Hero set to take on the world!
When he was young, Andrew Rathelele, now 18, turned R 40 into R 300 when he borrowed money from his grandmother to buy wood glue, and build a wooden display house, which sold for more than 6 times it's cost to build.
This ignited in him a desire to start his own business, in order to ensure a successful future for himself and for that of South African youth.
Through his company BlueBird Pictures, a multimedia company which offers design, printing, event management and coordination services, Andrew employs 5 people.
I don't want to work for someone for the rest of my life.— Andrew Rathelele, Lead SA Youth Hero July
Next year Andrew will head to University where he will study to become a quantity surveyor, through bursary he received, before gaining work experience.
He plans on starting several more businesses before he turns 35 -leaving behind him a trail of success and leadership.
Well done to Andrew, we look forward to celebrating your success with you!
