Bonteheuwel on the Cape Flats's first coffee shop smashes stereotypes
The love of baking and cooking has turned Aneesah Seale into a businesswoman, formally showcasing her love and talent.
Last year, Seale formalised her baking business by opening a coffee shop to sell her tasty treats, making it the first coffee shop in Bonteheuwel.
It's named That Coffee Shop and is supported by people from as far afield as Mitchells Plain, who flock to the venue to enjoy Aneesah's baking.
Speaking to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies, Seale says the crime and gangsterism in the area do not bother her much because the community loves the idea of having a coffee shop in the community.
I really have no fear. If I had feared I wouldn't have had this coffee shop.

The support I've been getting is absolutely amazing. The coffee shop is packed almost every day.
