Written by: Qama Qukula

Cape Town relator Jacqui Setoaba has been recognised for her acts of service and compassion.

Setoaba has been named among News24's first-ever list of 100 young Mandelas of the future.

100 young Mandelas is an initiative to celebrate some of the values embodied by the late, great icon Tat'uMadiba.

Setoaba explains that her own personal experiences have influenced the causes close to her heart - helping the elderly and uplifting the youth.

According to News24, she has helped a number of university students with financial support and accommodation over the years.

Setoaba mentors and coaches the students to equip them for the working environment.

She also works closely with an organisation that supports elderly people in Cape Town’s impoverished communities.

There's always time to do good.
