South African outsmarts thousands to become an Obama Foundation fellow

Social activist and executive director of Amandla.mobi, Koketso Moeti, was recently selected out of more than 20 000 applicants from 191 countries, to be one of 20 inaugural Obama Foundation fellows.

Moeti will take part in a two-year all-expenses-paid program which aims to connect activists around the world who seek to drive positive change in their communities.

She speaks to CapeTalk's Africa Melane about embarking on this new and exciting journey.

For us any kind of support is about growing this community, finding ways to plug Amandla.mobi into more resources to make strategic connections.
