Njabulo Zondi from Diski Development Projects believes that the secret to success in the social development field is to build strong and lasting relationships.

He says in this way the head, the heart and the hands are connected and one can have a greater impact when implementing social development projects. He said this means NPOs and corporates then no longer have to look at themselves as separate entities working on a project, but rather as partners who are working together for greater impact without a power dynamic getting in the way of the good they are trying to achieve.

Zondi is the Managing Director of Diski Development Projects, a not-for-profit organisation that serves to deliver qualified training, coaching and development programmes for 25 primary schools within the disadvantaged schools and communities of Blackheath, Eersterivier, Macassar, Mfuleni and Electric City.
