South African Expats in New York Sing SA's National Anthem

This past weekend South African-born (Joburg-bred) singer, songwriter and radio producer Lyla Illing hung out with a group of South African expats after the rugby to have a braai.

This was to celebrate the End of Summer Event. This is enough to give you _all the feels, but then you see Lyla (seen playing the guitar) and the group belt out Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika - ALL THE FEELS!

Lyla then took to Facebook to send this message:

“This is us saying it: We love YOU, South Africa!

“One thing I don’t say enough: I miss you. My friends and my family, my radio people and my friends in music. I miss you.

“Every day is a battle without you, but every night here is like a dream. ❤️ Thank you for standing by me. I feel it.”

We miss you all, too and thank you for keeping the spirit of South Africa high all around the world.
