Duo cycles from Pretoria to Cape Town to promote literacy
A pair of social activists have successfully cycled from Pretoria to Cape Town to promote reading in underprivileged communities.
They cycled from the Union Buildings in Pretoria to Parliament in Cape Town - all in the name of collecting books for communities in need.
Lindsay van der Byl created the Cycle 4 Change initiative in 2013 and he took his first solo ride for reading awareness in 2016.
This year van der Byl was joined by other cyclists and they conquered the challenge in nine days.
