Written by: diannem

At 17, Kiara is set to change the world as we know it, for the better. In 2016, she won the Google Science Fair and community impact award for the Middle East and Africa and has since been been placed on the Times and The Guardians top 30 most influential teens lists.

Currently she is a student ambassador for WWF (World Wildlife Fund), and has been invited as a speaker at TED talk and Forbes Women's events.

She spoke to Phemelo Motene this Saturday about her award-winning drought prevention invention, and the upcoming #Changemakers2017

Catch Kiara and many more at this year's Changemakers Conference.

Happening on the 26th of August 2017, from 08:30 at GIBS, The 2017 Changemakers Conference allows like-minded people who are doing great things, to network with the understanding that they all have a common goal.
