Lead SA and GIBS to host 'Third Thursdays' dialogues on challenges facing SA

Lead SA in partnership with the Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS) is hosting a series dialogues to inspire change.

The critical series of conversations, called Third Thursdays, aim to discuss and reflect on key issues facing the South Africa.

The dialogue will be held each third Thursday of the month and will focus on a theme that is important and relevant themes such as; education, femicide, food security and the digitisation of the work force.

The monthly event will take place in Johannesburg.

GIBS's Executive Director for the Centre for Leadership and Dialogue, Abdullah Verachia, explains the aim of Third Thursdays.

The rationale for partnering with Lead SA was to bring together alternative voices that provide a broad representation of views on some of the key and critical conversation we need to have as a country.

We will focus on some of the key conversations that should be defining the narrative in South Africa.

The first dialogue will be hosted on the 20th July, from 18:00 – 20:00 and will focus on Food Security in South Africa.
