Book lovers have shared their appreciation for the written word by phoning in to read excepts from their favourite texts.

Presenter Eusebius McKaiser opened the lines for listeners to call in and read from their favourite passages.

Some of the literature read during the Literature Corner includes:

  • 'Welcome to Our Hillbrow' by Phaswane Mpe
  • 'The Republic of Gupta' by Pieter-Louis Myburgh
  • ' In Pain We Thrive' by Sthembile Ahadi Zondo (read by the author herself)
  • 'This Dream' by Khanyi Magubane
  • 'One Breezy Night late in November' by K. Sello Duiker
  • 'The Power of Myth' by Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyer
  • 'Trillion Dollar Baby' by Paul Cleary
  • 'The emancipation of a Salawian' by Moses (read by author himself)
  • 'The Ochre People' by Noni Jabavu
