Urban Gown: Announcing the Winner of the 2017 Young Entrepreneur Competition

A few weeks ago, we asked young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 31 to enter the 947 Young Entrepreneurs Competition with Lead SA.

After weeks of narrowing down the entries to our Top 10, the judging panel sat down together on Thursday 15th June, where votes were counted and audited by an external auditor.

We are incredibly proud to announce the winners of this year's Young Entrepreneurs Competition: Urban Grown!

Urban Grown SA, which is co-founded by Nonhlanhla Mokoena-Chimhandamba and Simbarashe Chimhandamba, farms hydroponically in Diepsloot and it services customers within a 50-kilometer radius.
