#LeaderTweets Corruption Watch Urges National Front Against Corruption

Written by: Dianne Mc Alpine

This morning Lead SA handed over its Twitter account to David Lewis and team at Corruption Watch SA on International Anti-Corruption Day, observed annually on 9 December. The theme for 2016 is "United against corruption for development, peace and security."

The team, headed by David Lewis, opened the Twitter Take Over with the reminder that the 9th December marks one year since #NeneGate which opened a reflection on what has happened since then.

Many people have different views about what constitutes corruption and how they do or do not contribute to it.

Corruption Watch is a non-profit organisation working to fight corruption in South Africa.

They define corruption is the abuse of public resources or public power for personal gain. Corruption Watch is concerned with any such abuse by anyone at any level of government or in business.

You can report corrupt activities by calling the corruption hotline 0800 023 456, via WhatsApp 072 – 013 5569, by sending a SMS with “call me” to 44 666 or by reporting online.
