Congratulations to outgoing Public Protector Advocate Thuli Madonsela, on receiving the Lead SA Leadership Award for 2016. Advocate Madonsela and her office won the hearts of millions of South Africans with their courage and determination in handling various trying cases brought before them.

Leadership is synonymous with Advocate Madonsela, who has proved time and again, to be a woman of outstanding class and bravery. We would like to thank Advocate Madonsela and her team for being the embodiment of leadership over the past several years, filling her shoes will be a tough job for her successor.

After receiving the award, Advocate Madonsela tweeted that she was accepting the award on behalf of her team; Lead SA salutes the commitment and drive of the Public Protector's office.
