Documentary ‘Saving Rhino Phila’ calls for horn trade to be legal.

Legalise the horn trade and we might save the rhinos from extinction says film-maker Richard Slater-Jones, Director of the Natural History Unit ( NHU) Africa’s new moving documentary, Saving Rhino Phila, which premiered globally last year on the eNews Channel.

“Due to the powerful and ruthless new breed of poaching syndicates, our rhinos are worth more dead than alive,” he said commenting on recent news that 405 rhinos were killed in 2011-up 21.6 % from 2010 when 333 where shot.
