Blouberg 1 Ton Beach Clean Up.

Remember Gregory Player, the man behind the Blouberg beach clean-ups?  We chatted to him last year and found out exactly why a guy passionate about kite-surfing and Stand up Paddle Boarding would gather residents , organisations and ordinary South Africans on a beach and initiate regular beach clean ups.

It seems that  his goal for a clean, beautiful environment has grown bigger and better.  This past Saturday saw Greg together with eager children, parents and businesses aiming to collect 1 ton worth of rubbish along the Blouberg coastline.

The community are just as excited to make a difference in their area and 1.5 tons of garbage was picked up, leaving a white stretch of beach sans litter which only proves destructive to their environment.
