Pet Empowerment in Townships (PETS)

We are a registered public benefit oranisation (no: 930 025 719). We work in the townships of Orange Farm and Walkerville, to alleviate animal suffering, through owner education and empowerment. We have several projects on the go at any one time: at the moment, we are gearing up for our next spayathon, where we sterilise, vaccinate, deworm and deflea animals, as well as treat any sick animals.

We also have a kennel drive at the moment, with both donated kennels, and going out to the townships and building kennels with he help of volunteers and the community. Our day-to-day work includes removing and re-homing any unwanted animals, helping owners with donations of food and blankets, and proper collars and leashes.
